— "This is where things start getting formally spotty. I just couldn't find as much motivation to draw,
— so this (and the next two months's) are the tail end of my work. Things started to slow down.
—
— The 'yeen" (that's talk for "hyena" , for those not in the know), for example, was only created after
— a friend (name withheld), walked in on me doing absolutely nothing on my computer but just staring at a blank screen,
— so, as an alibi, I whipped open Paint, and started drawing the composistion now known as "Inland".
—
— I don't do that anymore.
—
— Anyways, I still think I had it back then. This was probably a low point, as they all look pretty "crayon-ish."
— The aforementioned "Inland" is still pretty damn good, though. It's the only(?) time I ever tried drawing something as seen from behind.
— I even got some extra butt cleavage on there. That's always a good thing. [source?]
—
— And, if you'll allow me to continue on my digression, (good grief this is already incredibly long), I want to talk about abstract art.
—
—
— I think there is a difference between 'surreal' or 'absurdist' and 'abstract'. Both are pretty vague adjectives, but
— I belive 'surreal' means the unreal, or the impossible. Something illogical that couldn't exist in real life,
— or at least that your mind thinks couldn't exist in real life.
—
— The abstract, however, always has meaning inherent in the peice. An abstract painting of a room might have the people in it represented
— by rectangles,
